STONED BLUE. I have been marching back and forward from Swansea to Mumbles since last summer in protest of the treatment and abuse of Women. I have been collecting stones on the beach along my journey. The process of walking and being next to nature has helped me to find some peace on my own personnel journey. The stones have become a precious symbol, statement and the collection however small acts as a reference point to the awareness of the stoning and abuse of women. The act of throwing the stones back into the sea is one of empowerment and collaboration, a gentle voice of freedom. A need also to still enguage with spirituality comes to play in the whirl of the dervish the finding of ones spiritual centre.
